Product Introduction
This WDF shrink fit chuck utilizes the principle of thermal expansion to achieve high-precision tool clamping. Its inner bore diameter is slightly smaller than the tool shank diameter. A dedicated heating device heats the toolholder, causing it to expand, widening the inner bore and facilitating smooth insertion of the tool. After heating stops, the toolholder cools naturally, shrinking the inner bore and forming a tight fit with the tool shank, creating a strong clamping effect.
Because the tool and shank fit perfectly and seamlessly, this toolholder provides extremely high rigidity, effectively reducing potential vibration during machining, thereby improving machining stability and precision. It is particularly suitable for demanding machining applications such as high-speed cutting, carbide tool machining, deep hole machining, complex contour machining, and machining large workpieces.
